Chief InstructorPaul S. Parks

Paul Parks is The Hub Training Academy’s Chief Instructor. With over 20 years of experience in firearms training and instruction, Paul is a former US Army Airborne Infantryman with several Army Instructor certifications, and a former Police Officer for the city of Grand Rapids, MI. After coming off active duty in 2007, Paul obtained his AZ DPS and NRA Instructor certifications and began teaching AZ Concealed Weapons Permit (CCW) classes in Arizona in January of 2008, making him one of southern Arizona’s most experienced CCW Instructors. In addition to CCW instruction, Paul specializes in curriculum development, handgun training for all skill levels, Carbine, Shotgun and Personal Safety/Defense training.

  • NRA and AZ DPS Instructor certified
  • NRA Chief Range Safety Officer
  • Former Front Sight Instructor, Distinguished Handgun
  • US Army Small Unit Trainer, LMTS Instructor and T3 (Train the Trainer) certified
  • US Army Master Gunner II certified
  • Suarez International Combat Handgun Instructor
  • Sig Sauer Pistol Mounted Optics Instructor
  • Sig Sauer Master Pistol Instructor
  • Paul has also trained with Rob Leatham, Larry Vickers, Aaron Barruga (to name just a few) and is a distinguished graduate/Top Gun winner at Gunsite in Paulden, AZ.
